Selfless Art Gallery Purchase & Return
Policy

At Selfless Art Gallery, our goal is to provide a seamless and reassuring experience with every acquisition. The following terms are designed to protect both our collectors and the integrity of each work entrusted to us.

1. Commitment to an Enjoyable Experience
The Gallery is committed to ensuring that every acquisition is an enjoyable one. Should an issue arise, we will work in good faith with the Buyer to reach a resolution that is fair, respectful, and consistent with the terms outlined herein.

2. Artwork Packaging & Tracking
To provide full transparency, the Gallery supplies tracking information for all shipments. In addition, we provide photographic documentation of each artwork once it has been securely packaged and boxed, so Buyers may see its condition prior to dispatch.

3. Shipping & Insurance
Shipping and insurance are calculated together and presented as a single cost at checkout. Upon request, the Gallery will provide a separate breakdown of shipping and insurance fees for the Buyer’s records.

4. Authenticity & Documentation
Every artwork acquired through Selfless Art Gallery is guaranteed to be authentic. Where applicable, works are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Artist or the Gallery.

5. Care & Handling Instructions
Select works may include special handling or care instructions to ensure their preservation. Buyers are encouraged to follow these guidelines carefully, particularly during the unpacking process, to maintain the integrity and longevity of the artwork.

6. Damage During Transit
If an artwork arrives damaged, the Buyer must notify the Gallery immediately at info@selflessart.com. All claims must include detailed photographs of the damage, packaging, and proof of delivery time. The Gallery will coordinate with the shipping carrier to resolve such claims. Once the artwork has been released to the carrier—or, in cases of direct Artist-to-Buyer shipment, once it is in the Artist’s possession for delivery—the Gallery and the Artist shall not be liable for any damage, delay, or loss during transit.

7. Return Window
A Buyer may request a return within seven (7) calendar days of delivery. All requests must be submitted in writing to the Gallery and must include proof of delivery and condition at the time of receipt.

8. Conditions for Return
Returned works must be packaged with the same level of care as originally shipped, using the original materials or equivalent protective packaging. Artworks must arrive in the same condition as when dispatched. The Gallery reserves the right to refuse any return that shows evidence of damage, alteration, or improper repackaging.

9. Responsibility for Return Shipping
All costs associated with return shipping are the responsibility of the Buyer. The Gallery cannot assume liability for delays, damages, or losses incurred during the return process.

10. Refunds or Replacements
Once a returned artwork is received and verified to be in perfect condition, the Gallery will offer one of the following, at our discretion:

  • A refund of the purchase price less shipping, handling, and packaging costs, or

  • A replacement artwork of equal or lesser value.

11. Shipping Timelines
The Gallery endeavors to prepare and ship all artworks within seven (7) business days of purchase. International shipments may require additional time due to customs inspections or logistical variables outside of our control.

12. International Duties & Customs
Buyers are solely responsible for any import duties, taxes, or fees levied by their country of residence. Customs processes may extend delivery timelines, and such delays are beyond the Gallery’s control.

13. Currency & Payment Terms
All prices are listed and processed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. The Gallery accepts major credit cards, wire transfers, and other secure payment methods as communicated at the time of purchase.

14. Limitations of Liability
The Gallery shall not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages associated with the acquisition, shipment, or return of artworks. This includes—but is not limited to—loss of use, aesthetic dissatisfaction, or financial loss.

15. Force Majeure
The Gallery shall not be liable for delays, losses, or failures to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, governmental restrictions, or global shipping disruptions.
