Having earned his BFA from Camberwell School of Art, Ron Smits showcased his work at prominent galleries like the Serpentine and Acme in London. Throughout his London-based career, he was the recipient of numerous grants from The Arts Council of Great Britain and Greater London Arts, aiding him in the production and presentation of his expanded cinema and video work.
